vCSG-3 is a group of adults who enjoy the fun and camaraderie associated with an organized group of competitive players. In an effort to maintain this culture, the group has elected to adopt a series of rules and guidelines for those seeking to join our ranks.

Rules:

Minimum age required is 18 years old

Must be able to regularly attend squadron training events in US time zones.

VFA-14: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2000 Eastern.

VFA-86:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2000 Pacific.

VF-103:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2000 Eastern.

VMFA-224:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2000 Eastern.

VMA-513: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2000 Eastern.

VAW-126: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2000 Eastern

Must endure and participate in sometimes awkward yet hilarious adult humor

Must be of good character

Equipment:

Hands-on Throttle and Stick (HOTAS)
Head Tracking hardware “Track IR or VR” (Or have intention of acquiring within a reasonable period of time)
Headset with mic and ability to use Discord

Software:

NTTR (Or have intention of acquiring within a reasonable period of time)
Persian Gulf (Or have intention of acquiring within a reasonable period of time)
Syria (Or have intention of acquiring within a reasonable period of time)
Super Carrier (Or have intention of acquiring within a reasonable period of time)
Desired Primary Aircraft (not required for VAW-126)

As mentioned above, certain requirements may be temporarily waived in lieu of the individual planning to purchase the items within a reasonable period of time after recruitment. It’s worth noting that a talented member of vCSG-3 fabricates his own TrackIR alternatives for very reasonable prices.
